Alice Ann George Alice Ann George, 63, of 54 Kelly St., Danville, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, March 13, 2019, in Danville.
A native of Montour County, she was born in Danville, a daughter of the late Robert E. and Ruth (Auten) George.

Alice was a graduate of the Danville High School.
She was employed by the family meat sales at George Farms.
Alice was an active member of the Mooresburg Presbyterian Church where she served as an Elder, was a member of Presbyterian Women, a teachers helper in the vacation Bible school program for many years, assistant church caretaker, sang in the choir, participated in many church events, and was a member of the Senior Center in Danville. Her first priority was her nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.

Surviving are four siblings, Jane (Larry) Aikey of Danville, Rebecca Bourbeau of Danville, Edgar George of Danville and Peter George of Danville; one sister-in-law, Sharon George of Danville; seven nieces and nephews; and 10 great-nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Martin George; and a sister-in-law, Lorraine George.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 19, at Mooresburg Presbyterian Church with her pastor, the Rev. John H. Shaw III officiating.
Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will provide flowers and asks that donations in Alice's memory may be made to Mooresburg Presbyterian Cemetery Fund, 21 Church Drive, Danville, Pa 17821, or to Liberty Township Fire Company QRS, 195 Mooresburg Road, Danville, PA 17821

Funeral arrangements are by the John H. Shaw III Funeral Home, Market and Eighth streets, Lewisburg.

Please accept my sincere condolences. God knows the pain that comes with losing a loved one, that is why he has promised to do away with his enemy, death (1 Corinthians 15:26). Our dear loved ones who are sleeping in death will soon wake up from their temporary sleep and return to us (Isaiah 26:19). Hold on firmly to this hope, and may the wonderful memories fill your heart and mind.

Aunt Al. You will be dearly remembered by your warm heart , sense of humor, and your beautiful smile..thank you for being there for us when we needed helped raise us..we wouldn't be here today with out your loving heart n are at peace now..
