Ann E. Nugent
Ann E. Nugent, 75, of Riverside, passed away at her home on Sunday, March 15, 2020.
She was born July 26, 1944, in Danville, a daughter of the late Mary (Saab) Erlsten. On Dec. 14, 1963, she married Thomas J. Nugent who survives.

Ann was a 1962 graduate of Danville Area High School.
She worked for many years at Rea & Derick Drug Store and Garvey's Carpet. She loved her many co-workers and dealing with the public of Danville.
Ann was a true Danvillian and enjoyed socializing. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
Ann was a feisty woman, loved Bruce Springsteen, and enjoyed the time she spent with her son at the concerts he took her to. She also enjoyed speaking with her daughter daily. She and her loving husband of 56 years were jokingly the "world's most boring couple."

In addition to her husband, Tom Nugent of Riverside, she is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Mark T. and Melissa Nugent of Danville; one daughter, Marsha C. Nugent and companion Paul McGuire of New York; six stepgrandchildren, Addison, Noah, Holden, Elijah, Lindsay, and Robby; one grandpuppy, Butch; and her loving cat, Lola.

At Ann's request, private funeral services will be held at Brady Funeral Home in Danville.
Burial will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Danville.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Brady Funeral Home Inc.

Ann was a long time co-worker of mine who was like a second mother to me. I can still hear her raspy voice today. Tom, Mark and Marsha please know she will forever hold a special place in my heart. Peace be with you all at this difficult time.
