Charles Luther "Luke" Hinkel III, 48, of Eminence, Ky., passed away suddenly on Sept. 14, 2017.
?Luke was born May 7, 1969, at Great Lakes Naval Hospital in North Chicago, Ill., to Charles Luther II and Kathleen (Silvers) Hinkel, of Danville, Pa.?

Luke attended Danville Area Schools, Danville, Pa. He continued his education at Penn College of Technology earning his associates degree in accounting. He went on to serve in the Navy and most recently was a sales manager at All Pro Satellite and Security.
Luke was a loving and supportive father to his sons, Cody, Zachary and Colton. He had a great sense of humor and was always fun to share time with. He was a loving son, brother and father and will be missed terribly. Luke loved sports and participated in track and cross country while in high school. He especially enjoyed watching his sons participating in their sports.

In addition to his parents, sons, and ex-wife Kimberly (of Eminence), Luke is survived by three siblings, Christopher Hinkel and wife Mariana (children Cristian and Carlos), of Jenkintown, Pa., Regina (Hinkel) Wolf and husband Eric (children Maureen and Heath), of Danville, and Jonathan Hinkel, of Danville; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins throughout the country.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday, October 6, at Saint Columba Catholic Church, 342 Iron St., Bloomsburg, Pa.
An interment service will follow in Saint Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Danville.

Remembrance may be made in the form desired by friends. Flowers are welcome. Contributions may be sent to a charity of your choice.
