Clara W. Murray, 96, of Cardinal Drive, Hughesville, formerly of Turbotville, passed away Saturday, Nov. 25, 2017, at her home.
She was born Aug. 28, 1921, in Anthony Township, Montour County, a daughter of the late William C. and Beatrice L. (DeWald) Webb. She married Willis S. Murray and they have celebrated 54 years of marriage until his passing on May 31, 1996.
Clara was a member of Holy Spirit Lutheran Church, formerly St. James Lutheran Church.
She enjoyed word puzzles, Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune. She was a great cook and pie baker.
Surviving are her daughter, Polly Hess, of Hughesville; two granddaughters, Lisa Evans, of Pottstown and Cynthia and her husband Leo Agogino, of New Jersey; three great-granddaughters, Kathrin Evans, Katrina and Angela Agogino; one great-great-granddaughter, Laina Decarlo; two brothers, Harold Webb, of Watsontown and Robert Webb, of Muncy; and one sister, Helen Miller, of Hughesville.
She was preceded in death by four brothers, Kenny, Percy, Dennis and Bill Webb; and two sisters, Dorothy Weaver and Lois Webb.
Friends and family are invited to call from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at Brooks Funeral Home & Cremation Svc, PC, 207 Broadway St., Turbotville, followed by the funeral at 11, with the Rev. Thomas Glasoe, Holy Spirit Lutheran Church, Turbotville, officiating.
Burial will follow in Twin Hills Memorial Park, Muncy.
