Debra K. Feaster, 58, formerly of Danville, passed away Nov. 27, 2017, at Rosewood Rehabilitation Center, Schuylkill Haven, where she had been a resident.
She was born Aug. 6, 1959, in Danville, a daughter of the late P. Richard and Sara Jane (McClenahen) Gass.
Debra was a 1977 graduate of Danville High School and received her registered nursing degree from Geisinger School of Nursing.
She was employed as a registered nurse at various healthcare facilities in the area including the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Geisinger Medical Center.
Debra enjoyed walking, county music, the holiday seasons, spending time with her family and was a proud Danville resident.
She is survived by one son, Corey Knecht, of New Hampshire; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Brenda and David Faverio, of Smithtown, N.Y., and Sharon and Eric Pilker, of Bostic, N.C.; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Dawn Nicole Feaster on Sept. 14, 2014.
Friends will be received from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Friday at Visneski Funeral Home Inc., 42 W. Mahoning St., Danville, followed by a celebration of Debra's life at 11:30 with the Rev. Mary B. Schmotzer officiating.
Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Danville.
