Earl F. Reinaker, 92, of, Danville, passed away peacefully on Friday, Dec. 16, 2016, at Maria Hall in Danville.
He was born Dec. 3, 1924, in Danville, a son of the late Harry E. and M. Elizabeth (Patton) Reinaker.
Earl was a devoted husband to his loving wife, Betty Mae (Krum) Reinaker of 66 years. They were married May 26, 1950.
Earl was employed as a chemical operator for Merck & Company from 1951 until his retirement in 1987.
His memberships include St. James United Church of Christ, Danville and the East End Fire Company, Danville.
Earl enjoyed hunting, fishing, and gardening. He loved to travel with Betty on cruises and bus trips. He also loved to play baseball. Earl was a former member of the Riverside Tigers Baseball Team. His greatest enjoyment in life was his family and spending valuable time with his grandchildren.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by three sons and two daughters-in-law, Craig Reinaker, Steven and Linda Reinaker, and Mark and Cheri Reinaker, all of Danville; four grandchildren, Rebecca, James, Joshua, and Aimee; four great-grandchildren, Charlotte, Landon, Craig, and Branlin; one brother, Harry E. Reinaker, of Danville; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Vera Morgan and Margaret Holdren; and five brothers, Bruce, Harold, William, Donald, and Marr.
Friends and relatives will be received from 10 to 11:45 a.m. Thursday at St. James United Church of Christ, 2507 Bloom Road, Danville, followed by the funeral at noon, with the Rev. Richard Shearer officiating.
Burial will follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Danville.
The family will provide flowers. Memorial contributions may be made to the church or a charity of the donor's choice.
Arrangements are under the direction of Visneski Funeral Home Inc., 10 W. Mahoning St., Danville.
