Gerald Patrick "Jerry" Dennen, 75, of Riverside, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 24, 2017, at the Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, surrounded by his loving wife and family.
He was born May 31, 1941, in Danville, a son of the late Sylvester T. Dennen and Mary H. LeFevre. He married the former Fianna "Ann" Troutman.

Jerry was honorably discharged from the Air Force and later worked as a carpenter.
He was a member of St. Joseph Church in Danville.
Jerry was the consummate outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish, serving as a past president of the Cherokee Gun Club. He was also an avid Civil War living historian and reenactor.

He is survived by his wife, Ann; three children, Lisa Marr, of Danville, Michael Dennen and wife Barbara, of Riverside, and Robyn Martz, of Northumberland; seven grandchildren, Joshua, Brittany, Amanda, Emily, Jacob, Stephanie and husband Andrew, and Megan; two great-grandchildren, Amelia and Easton; and two brothers, Harry Thomas "Tom" Dennen, of Danville and Richard Dennen, of Indiana.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Lawrence Dennen.

Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
