Herman F. Wolfe III, 46, of Danville, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 1, 2017, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
He was born Nov. 7, 1970, in Danville, a son of the late Herman F. Jr. and Mary Jane (Long) Wolfe.
Herman was a 1991 graduate of Danville High School.
He had been employed as a construction laborer for Counter Artists in Benton.
Herman enjoyed fishing, watching movies, stargazing and eating out at local restaurants, always ready to try new places and new food. Herman was an avid animal lover and he enjoyed writing, especially poetry. A tenderhearted, kind soul, he adored spending time with his family and his friends who will deeply miss him.
He is survived by one brother, Ronald C. Wolfe, of Danville; two sisters, Christine L. Foust and her husband Max L., of Watsontown, and Sally K. Wolfe, of Danville; numerous nieces and nephews; and his very dear friends, Mark and Brenda Webb, of Catawissa, and their daughter, Briella.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Ricky Wolfe in 1978; and two sisters, Mary Margaret Wolfe in 1966 and Beverly Lyons in 1997.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a celebration of Herman's life at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Visneski Funeral Home Inc., 10 W. Mahoning St., Danville, with the Rev. Dawes J. Dunham officiating. Friends will be received from 9 to 10:45 a.m. prior to the service.
Burial will follow in Columbia Hill Cemetery, Danville.
