His easygoing personality, warm smile and big heart were loved by all.

As a prominent small business owner, Joe readily supported local community organizations, including the Spring Brook Fire House, North Pocono High School, Moscow Public Library and The Church of Saint Catherine of Siena. He was also a member of the American Legion for 50 years.

Joe will be greatly missed by his loving wife of 50 years, Theresa, and their two children, daughter, Mara and husband Ron Gecan of Vienna, Va., and son, Dr. Joseph and wife Dr. Lisa Licata Mucciolo, of Danville. Joe was the proud grandfather of eight beautiful grandchildren, Lucas, Gianna and Elena Gecan and Sophia, Madeline, Joseph, Lucia and Annabella Mucciolo. He is survived by brother Anthony and wife Claudia, and brother John, all of Old Forge, and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Gino and Louis, and his sister-in-laws, Theresa and Eleanor.
