Judy L. Davis, 70, of Danville, passed away at her home on Friday, May 25, 2018.
She was born April 24, 1948, in Bloomsburg, a daughter of the late Myron and Adelia (Fox) Appleman. She was married to the late Robert L. Davis, and they spent 36 loving years of marriage together.
Judy was a 1966 graduate of Danville Area High School.
She was employed at the Geisinger Medical Center for more than 30 in their Business Office and retired from GHP Gold.
She was a member of St. Paul's Emmanuel United Methodist Church.
Judy enjoyed playing cards and bingo. She was known as an excellent cook, loved to visit with family, and was especially fond of spending time with her grandchildren. Her favorite place to travel was Ocean City, Md.
She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Christine and Arthur Oberdorf of Maryland, and Patti and Christopher Kirkner of Danville; four grandchildren, Bradley, Madyson, Robert, and Alexandria; two great-grandchildren, Axel and Emmett; and siblings, Jayne Confer of Millville, Janet Abraham of Texas, Adelia Houck and husband Dan of Millville, Jaime Appleman of Millville, Tom Appleman and wife Traci of Danville, and Scott Appleman of Danville.
In addition to her parents, and husband Robert, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Maxine Cameron; and one brother, Jerry Appleman.
Friends and family are invited to attend a viewing from 10 to 11:45 a.m. Friday at Brady Funeral Home, 448 Church St. (formerly 320), Danville, followed by the funeral at noon.
Burial will follow in Columbia Hill Cemetery, Danville.
