Kimberly's Story

Kimberly Anne Morgan. 43, of Danville, passed away on Tuesday, April 10, 2018, at the Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, as the result of a motor vehicle accident.
She was born July 30, 1974, in Frankfurt, Germany, a daughter of Elizabeth Anne Kerr Baylor of Danville, and the late LeRoy Eugene Morgan. On April 25, 2009, she married Clifford Scott Getgen Jr., who survives. They celebrated eight years of marriage.

Kimberly was a 1992 graduate of Danville High School and later from Danville Practical Nursing School in 1994.
She was employed as an LPN at various nursing homes in the area and most recently she was employed by Vintage Knolls in Danville.
She was a member of Pine Street Evangelical Lutheran Church, Danville, and a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, Tah Gah Jute Chapter.
Kimberly enjoyed playing video games, reading, and spending time with her family.
She will be warmly remembered as a loving wife, daughter and sister as well as a cherished and devoted mother by her daughter, Madison Marie, at home, whom she adored.

In addition to her mother, husband, and daughter, she is survived by her stepfather, Richard F. Baylor of Danville; her stepmother, Sylvia Morgan of Texas; one brother and sister-in-law, Caz E. and Nicole Morgan, of Danville; three stepbrothers, Lenny Vasquez Reid, Stephen Anthony Vasquez and Steven Baylor; two stepsisters and their husbands, Lisa Marie and Leon Vasquez, and Barbara and Paul Shultz; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Christopher Irvin Morgan in 2002.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a celebration of Kimberly's life at 11 a.m. Friday at Pine Street Evangelical Lutheran Church, 621 Pine St., Danville, with the Rev. John Koons officiating. Friends will be received from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. prior to the service.
Burial will be held in Twin Hills Memorial Park, Muncy.
The family will provide flowers. Memorial contributions may be made to the church or the Madison M. Morgan Scholarship Fund, 364 Kaseville Road, Danville, PA 17821.
