Linda L. (Williams) Frew, 65, of 35 Valley View Road, Danville, passed away at 8 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 1, 2016, at Heritage Springs Memory Care Center, Lewisburg, where she was a patient.
She was born July 14, 1951, in Bloomsburg, a daughter of the late Robert R. and Louise E. (Bailey) Williams. She was married to Henry W. Frew and they had celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary on Sept. 25, 2016.
Linda was a 1969 graduate of Central Columbia High School and a 1972 graduate of the Robert Packer Hospital School of Nursing in Sayre. She resided in Danville since 1978.
As a registered nurse, she was employed by the Robert Packer Hospital and Geisinger Medical Center.
Linda was always involved in her sons lives and their activities, such as the Danville High School Band Boosters, Boy Scouts, and AYSO soccer. She was also interested in genealogy and the Daughters of the American Revolution. She thoroughly enjoyed being a grandmother. Friends will remember her as a warm and funny lady.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons and one daughter-in-law, Henry R. and Susan Frew, of Billings, Mont., and Alex R. Frew, of Danville; three grandchildren, Naudia Downs-Frew, of Catawissa, and Henry S. and Olivia L. Frew, of Billings; and one sister, Janelle Hemma, of Danville.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Roat-Kriner Funeral Home, 1715 Bloom Road, Danville.
A private graveside service will be held in Walpole Rural Cemetery, Walpole, Mass.
