Marjorie Miller Melamed, 74, of Cleveland Heights, Ohio, formerly of Danville, Pa., passed away Sept. 21, 2018.
She was born July 10, 1944, in Danville, a daughter of the late Samuel S. and Esther (Harris) Miller. She was married to Marvin Melamed who preceded her in death in 1997.

Marjorie graduated from the Penn Hall Prep School in Chambersburg, Pa., in 1962. She attended Connecticut College for Women in New London, Conn., for two years until 1964. Marjorie then attended Penn State University where she graduated in 1966.

Marjorie resided in Pittsburgh for 15 years, where she was employed at the Welfare Department and Hearing Offices for the PA Human Hearing Commission. She then relocated to Ohio in 1981.

Friends are invited to attend graveside services at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Jewish Cemetery, Danville.
