Steven Kitka Steven Kitka, 62, of Danville, passed away peacefully on Friday, Nov. 9, 2018, surrounded by his family at UPMC Susquehanna, Williamsport.
He was born Jan. 4, 1956, in Gyor, Hungary, a son of late Sandor and Katalin (Szoke) Kitka.

He immigrated as an infant in December of 1956 and settled in Jerseytown. Steven attended Millville schools.
He was the hardest working man you would ever meet. Steven worked at Roselon Yarns for 10 years, S & B Foundry for 20 years, and Red Roof Inn for 10 years.

Steven was married to his loving wife for 43 years, M. Lynn Kitka. Together they shared a loving home with their children.
He enjoyed hunting, boating, muscle cars, and a nice cold beer. He loved his family dearly and adored spending time with his grandchildren. He also loved traveling and getting to see the country with his family. He loved exploring new places. Steven had many good friends that made a huge impact on his life. He was a great friend and father and was always willing to help where he could.

Steven is survived by his son, Mike Kitka of Danville, his wife Marcie, and their children, Gracie, Maxx, and Kole; his daughter, Marisa Green of Oklahoma City, her husband Chris, and their sons Caleb and Colton; his siblings, Joe and wife Sharon of Washingtonville, Sandor of Hungary, Gabor and wife Patty of Texas, Rosa Deem and husband Doug of Montgomery, Andrew and wife Barb of Hughesville, and Lisa Bower and husband Ron of Danville; and many nieces and nephews that he cherished.

Steven was preceded in death by his parents, Sandor and Katy; in-laws, Lewis and Sarah Temple; and brothers-in-law, David and William Temple.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Visneski Funeral Home, 42 W. Mahoning St., Danville.

I loved seeing Steve at work everyday. He made me laugh. He was a light in that place and now, it won't be the same at all.

I remember Steve well went to school with him since Jerseytown and high school. He had a great sense of humor. He will be greatly missed. Sending prayers.
