Susan Leslie Bell, 59, of Danville, passed away on Friday, Oct. 13, 2017.
She was born on Jan. 9, 1958, in Danville, the daughter of David Fredrick Bell, of Newark, Del. and Lois Seebold Kishbaugh, of Danville; and was the stepdaughter of James D. Kishbaugh, of Danville.
Susan graduated from Danville High School in 1976 and received her registered nurse degree in 1986 from Delaware Technical and Community College in Stanton, Del.
She was employed as a registered nurse at Danville State Hospital and Geisinger Medical Center in the Medical/Surgery Department.
In earlier years, Susan loved artwork and was known for her great sense of humor. A compassionate person, she thoroughly enjoyed working when she was employed as a nurse. She was an avid animal lover, especially cats.
She is survived by one son, Shane Green, of Danville; one daughter; Brynne Miller and her husband Joseph, of Danville; she was expecting a granddaughter, Genevieve Bianca to be born in November; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Robert Fredrick and Kim Bell, of Newark, Del., and David Gordon and Joan Bell, of Spokane, Wash.; one stepbrother, James D. Kishbaugh II, and his wife Kathleen, of Danville; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her stepsister, Jody Kishbaugh on Aug. 8, 1988.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family who will provide flowers.
