Viola A. Reibsome Viola A. Reibsome, 94, of Danville, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Thursday, Oct. 4, 2018, at the Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
She was born Oct. 16, 1923, in Beaver Falls, a daughter of the late Joseph Franklin and Mary Elizabeth (Raft) Barrett.

Viola was a loving mother and devoted homemaker. She enjoyed doing puzzles, playing cards especially Skip-bo and Solitaire, shopping, spending time with her grandchildren and celebrating the holidays. Viola was very fashionable and loved bright colors. She especially loved flower bows in her hair. Her greatest enjoyment in life was spending time with her family.

She was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church, Danville Moose, Washies, VFW, the American Legion Post 40, and the Continental.

Viola is survived by two sons, Franklin Reibsome and his wife Sue and Dean Reibsome, all of Danville; three daughters, Judy Millar and her husband Ken and Connie Bickhart, both of Danville, and Kay Hoyes of Bloomsburg.
She was preceded in death by one infant son; one daughter, Ruth Eileen Baker; and two sons-in-law, Donald Bickhart and Herbert Hoyes.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a celebration of Viola's life at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Trinity United Methodist Church, 84 Lombard Ave., Danville, with Pastor David Layser officiating. Friends will be received from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. prior to the service.
Burial will follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Danville.
