Darlis M. Baylor, 90, of 1410 Brook Ave., Danville, passed away Monday, April 18, 2016, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
She was born Oct. 24, 1925, in Danville, a daughter of the late Floyd E. and Mary Alice (Rogers) Weidensaul. She was married to Charles H. Baylor who preceded her in death in 1996.
Darlis graduated from Danville High School in 1943.
She was the former secretary to D. Edward Edmondson for many years. Darlis was also a teacher's aide in the Danville Schools for 12 years.
She was a lifelong member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Danville and a long time member of Community Garden Club of Danville.
Darlis enjoyed gardening, traveling, and fishing. Her greatest enjoyment in life was spending time with her son, Wayne.
Darlis is survived by one son, Wayne N. Baylor, of Danville; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by three sisters, Bernice Wands, Dorothy Reilly, and Mary A. Weidensaul; and one brother, Floyd N. Weidensaul.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a graveside service to be held at 11:30 a.m. Monday in Odd Fellows Cemetery, 1402 Bloom Road, Danville, with her nephew, Ken Wands officiating.
Arrangements are under the direction of Visneski Funeral Home Inc., 10 W. Mahoning St., Danville.
