Maybelle C. Reamer, 90, of Riverside, passed away on Sunday, June 18, 2017, at Emmanuel Nursing Center at Maria Joseph, Danville.
She was born May 19, 1927, in Riverside, a daughter of the late Calvin Christian and Bertha Mae (Rudy) Ryan.
Maybelle was a graduate of Danville High School.
She was employed at Roselyn Yarns for several years and by Geisinger Medical Center in the Dietary Department from where she retired in 1991.
She was a member of St. Peter's United Methodist Church, Riverside, where she was on the bowling team and served by donating food to various dinner functions there.
Maybelle was an avid bowler, loved to read, and enjoyed crossword puzzles. She was a dedicated and loyal Philadelphia Phillies fan faithfully keeping stats on the players for each game. Her greatest enjoyment in life was spending time with her family.
She is survived by two sons and one daughter-in-law, John and Cathy Reamer, of Riverside, and Daniel Reamer, of Danville; four daughters and three sons-in-law, Cathleen Reamer, of York, Roxanne and Guy Kremser, of Catawissa, Linda and Ed Bender, of York, and Joyce and Randy Keister, of Riverside; 10 grandchildren, Nicole and husband Chris, Shane, Kimberly and husband Mark, Bryan, Stacy and husband Matt, Lydia and husband Will, Kiley, Eddie, Blair, and Derrick and wife Christa; 11 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by six brothers and three sisters.
Relatives and friends will be received from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. Thursday at St. Peter's United Methodist Church, 240 Sunbury Road, Riverside, followed by a celebration of Maybelle's life at 11, with the Rev. Dr. Donald N. Hurley officiating.
Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family in Kase Cemetery, Riverside.
The family will provide flowers. Memorial contributions in Maybelle's memory may be made to St. Peter's United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 428, Riverside, PA 17868.
Arrangements are under the direction of Visneski Funeral Home Inc., 10 W. Mahoning St., Danville.
