Patricia Ann Shultz, 72, of Frosty Valley Road, Danville, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Wednesday evening, April 12, 2017.
A lifelong Danville resident, she was born on Feb. 25, 1945, to the late Thelma (Wertman) and Ralph H. Tobias. She married Larue O. Shultz on June 28, 1969. Her death breaks a marital bond of 48 years.
Pat graduated from Danville High School in 1963. She was employed at Roslyn Yarns and also worked for Weller's Vending Service.
She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. An avid Bible reader, she regularly shared in the house-to-house ministry.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by one son, Peter L. Shultz, his wife Amy, and the light of her life, granddaughter Leah, all of Danville. Also surviving are brothers, Ralph Tobias and wife Rosemary, Kenneth Tobias and wife Joyce, Charles Tobias and wife Donna, Raymond Tobias, and one sister, Debbie Tobias Randler and husband Larry, all of Danville; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She will be greatly missed.
A time of visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, April 17, 2017, and again from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 18, followed by the funeral service at 11 a.m., at the Brady Funeral Home, 320 Church St., Danville. Larry Kirkner, Jehovah's Witness Elder will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Columbia Hill Cemetery, Danville.
