Robert E. Foust, 90, of Danville, passed away on Sunday, September 10, 2017, at Mountain View Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Coal Township.
He was born February 20, 1927, in Danville, a son of the late Arthur and Blanche (Paugh) Foust. He married Gertrude Hoover, sharing 64 loving years together.
Bob served in the Army Air Corps and received a World War II Victory Medal.
He worked for Kennedy Van Saun as a tool and die maker for more than 45 years, and later served as the VP of Construction of the Barbarich Group.
He was a member of St. Paul's Emmanuel United Methodist Church, as well as the Moose, American Legion, and Elks.
Bob loved to golf, bowl, and go fishing.
He is survived by his wife, Gertrude, of Danville; two children, Robert Foust and Carol Barbarich and husband Jim, all of Danville; grandchildren, Jamie, Jim, and Kristen; and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two siblings, Donald Foust and Lois Stimeling.
A viewing will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday at the Brady Funeral Home, 320 Church St., Danville, followed by the funeral at 1, with his pastor, the Rev. Gregory L. Molter officiating.
Burial will follow in Elan Memorial Park, Bloomsburg.
