Timothy Jay Rogers, 46, of Danville, passed away Saturday, May 21, 2016, in Danville.
He was born May 5, 1970, in Danville, a son of William R. III and Susan M. (Krum) Rogers.
Timothy graduated from Danville Area High School in 1988 and then attended the University of Alaska at Fairbanks receiving a certificate in diesel mechanics.
He served his country in the Navy as a Seaman in the Submarine Service from January of 1990 to June of 1991.
He was a life member of the Danville American Legion Post 40, Danville Auxiliary VFW Post 298, and East End Fire Company.
Timothy enjoyed riding his motorcycle, hunting, fishing, and recently building model airplanes. His greatest enjoyment in life was spending time with his family and with his devoted Labrador Retriever, Dave.
In addition to his parents, Timothy is survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Timothy was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, John R. and Henrietta (Waite) Krum and his paternal grandparents, William R. Rogers Jr. and Francis Ann (Walker) Rogers Blain.
Services and burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
Arrangements are under the direction of Visneski Funeral Home Inc., 10 W. Mahoning St., Danville.
