Adele Jean (Jeannie Cook) Hulsizer, 56, of Salem Road, Selinsgrove, passed away on Sunday, March 25, 2018, at her home.

She was born Aug. 23, 1961, in Danville, a daughter of Robert E. Sr. and Bernice (Seesoltz) Cook. She was married for 25 years as a military spouse.

Jeannie was an office administrator for more than 20 years. She lived in New London, Conn, Virginia Beach, Va., Charleston, S.C., Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada, and Chesapeake, Va., before retiring back to Pennsylvania.

Jeannie was an active member of the Sunbury Social Club, the Selinsgrove V.F.W., the Selinsgrove Moose, and the American Legion Post 44.

She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Charles "Wesley" and Kayla T. Hulsizer of Selinsgrove; two daughters and sons-in-law, Tabitha Rose and Mike O'Halloran of Sunbury, and Christy Jean and Brad Oberdorf of Sunbury; five grandchildren, Colton, Blake, Cayden, Korra, and Ryleigh; one sister and brother-in-law, Connie and Steve Lahr of Northumberland; one brother and sister-in-law, Robert Jr. and Ellen Cook; and her companion, Dean Fisher of Selinsgrove.

A viewing will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Jerre Wirt Blank Funeral Home, 395 State St., Sunbury, where the funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday.

Burial will follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Danville.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Jeannie's memory may be made to any no-kill shelter.
