He was born March 16, 1971, in Boston, Mass., to Dr. Larry Lee Lynn and Barbara Barnhart Lynn Plaster. The family moved to Texas before settling in Virginia in 1974. Larry spent most of his childhood in Sterling, Virginia.

Watching his girls grow up was the joy of his life; he loved them deeply. Larry was a devoted husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and friend. Larry worked in many positions in the field of psychology, helping improve the lives of many. Over the years, he served at mental health clinics, private practices, the MD Department of Corrections, and as an adjunct professor at the University of Baltimore. In recent years, he worked at the Department of Defense and also his private practice, Kent Island Psychology in Stevensville and Columbia.
