Fay M. Hoffman, 89, of Middleburg and formally of Danville, passed away Sunday, Sept. 27, 2020, at The Manor at Penn Village, Selinsgrove.
She was born in Hunter Station on Aug. 15,1931, a daughter of the late Norman and Cora (Feese) Snyder. She married Ernest Hoffman on April 17, 1954.
Fay was a graduate of Mahanoy Joint High School. She was a member of the Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Hunter Station. Her hobbies included gardening and baking.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by four children, Gary and wife Janet of Riverside, Dale Hoffman of Danville, Debra Fuhrman of Middleburg, Tim Hoffman and wife Marlene of Bloomsburg; five grandchildren, Jeremy Frits of Lewisburg, Jason and wife Sarah Frits of Millmont, Jennifer and husband Joe Hodish of Danville, Katie and husband Tyler Weiss of Riverside, Nicole Hoffman of Bloomsburg; eight great-grandchildren; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Mark and Janie Snyder of Sunbury, Melvin and Judy Snyder of Glendale, Arizona, and Paul and Tina Snyder of North Haven, Connecticut.
She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Ashely Hoffman; a grandson, Walter Frits; a son-in-law, John Fuhrman; and a brother, Clarence Snyder.
The funeral is private.
Arrangements are by the Jerre Wirt Blank Funeral Home, 395 State St., Sunbury.
