Francis "Frank" V. Feaster, 62 of Millersburg, Illinois, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his family, Tuesday evening, Jan. 16, 2024.
Francis (Frank) Vastine Feaster was born Sept. 19, 1961, in Riverside, Pa. He was from a large family, one of seven children. He is the son of Francis Hillary Feaster, who preceded him in death and Shirley mae Garman Feaster who is surviving and still lives in Riverside.
Francis graduated from Danville High School in 1980. He served our country in the United States Army for eight years. During his time with the military, he served in the Military Police in the Army. He was awarded the United States Army service ribbon, overseas service ribbon, and the expert marksman badge.
Francis and Marcile Del Behm were united in marriage on Oct. 31, 2009. They have enjoyed 14 years together and she lovingly cared for him every day till the end. He was able to pass peacefully at home with his children. Frank worked for the Federal Bureau of Prisons his entire career. He started at MDC Guaynabo in Puerto Rico. He activated the Greenville Federal Correctional Institution in 1994. After more than 20 years with the bureau, he retired in 2015.
Francis was a wonderful father to Francis H. Feaster of Greenville, Dallas Feaster of Lebanon, and Alexanndra Behm of Louisiana. His greatest loves were his family, friends, fur babies, and his Penn State team.
Also surviving are siblings, Glenda Durso, Teresita Feaster (sister-in-law), Dee (James) Embick, Melissa Keefer, Mark Feaster, and Amy Feaster. Roger Feaster preceded him in death.
