Gail Marie McGlinn, of Sunbury, died June 12, 2018 at the Watsontown Nursing and Rehabilitation Center after a long illness.
Gail, the adopted daughter of Clifford D. and Mary E. Bassett, was born Sept. 5, 1957. She attended Shikellamy schools and graduated from St. Cyril's Academy, Danville in 1975. She married Gerald McGlinn of Sunbury, on April 25, 1981. She was a life-long member of the Klinesgrove United Methodist Church.
Gail is survived by her husband Gerald ("Jerry"); her siblings, Lawrence F. ("Larry") Bassett and his wife Karen Choate-Bassett of Williamsport, Jacqueline ("Jackie") Shaibley and her husband John of Danville, Ann Feger and her husband Bruce of Mifflinburg; and nieces and nephews Patchen Bassett and Megan Bassett (Larry), Karen Hudock (Jackie), and Ty Engle and Misty Engle (Ann).
In keeping with Gail's wishes, there will be no viewing or visitation. A memorial service for Gail is planned by the family for a later date.
