Lawrence H. Ford, 93, of Riverside, died at Emmanuel Center for Nursing & Rehab on Aug. 3, 2023.


He was born Dec. 17, 1929, in Danville, the son of the late David and Greta (Thompson) Ford.


Earlier in life, Lawrence served our country in the Korean War, with the United States Army, and he worked as a foreman at TRW.


In addition to his parents, Lawrence was preceded in death by his wife of 70 years, Janice; and one grandson, Nathan.


Lawrence is survived by one son, Tony Ford, of York; one daughter, Joyce Willoughby of Danville; four grandchildren, Cort and his wife Amy, Derek, Ashley and her fiancée Jake, and Sara; and four great-grandchildren, Madalynn, Delaney, Mia and Zane.


At the request of Lawrence's family, funeral services will be private.
